Rob Harris is a Nashville-based Singer/Songwriter. His latest release, “Winnebago”, was produced by Michael Farren (Pocket Full of Rocks). It features nine original songs and appears on Wayne Manor Records.
He arranged an acoustic waltz version of the rock anthem, "Free Bird", with the ACM Award-winning country duo, Joey+Rory, which appeared on their debut CD. For two years, he played guitar for Joey Feek. He has held publishing deals with Identical Entertainment, The Heard Music Group and Rescued Music.
His song "Greasy John Deere Cap" appears on the Tim Hicks CD, "Throw Down", which was certified GOLD in August 2017.
Other artists who have recorded Rob's songs include: The Lovelocks, Ivan Parker, Back Home, Karen Peck, Tonja Rose, Brittany Brodie and a variety of indie artists. Garth Brooks describes Rob’s song, “How to Bend” as, “…a beautiful sentiment, a timeless message and a great song.”
His music is family friendly, filled with real life and sprinkled with humor. He performs concerts throughout the US, has opened shows for Grammy® Award-winning and Dove Award-winning artists and is a frequent performer at Nashville-area songwriter venues such as Puckett’s Grocery and the world famous, Bluebird Café. Rob also has over thirty years experience leading worship at churches and events around the country.
While he is a songwriter at heart, he also enjoys playing great cover songs. If you hear him at a restaurant or house concert, you may hear him perform songs by artists such as James Taylor, Jackson Browne, The Beatles, Foreigner, Johnny Cash, U2, Paul McCartney and Wings, Billy Joel, Keith Urban, Bruce Hornsby, Foo Fighters, Jim Croce, Fleetwood Mac, Matt Nathanson, Richard Marx, The Eagles, Journey, John Denver, Huey Lewis & The News, Tom Petty, Hall & Oates, Bob Seger, Train, The Monkees, Sting, etc.
He and his wife, Lara, have three amazing daughters, one above average dog and two cats who are four opposable thumbs away from taking over the world. He collects autographs and is a bit of a Batman..."enthusiast".
Rob will begin recording a new project soon, with a projected release date of late 2018/early 2019. His current album, “Winnebago”, is available on iTunes, other digital outlets and in the online store on this site.
